Created Issue: Formatting Manipulations [1379]

The control should support basic manipulations for the formatting depending on the state of an item (enabled, readonly, hover, selected, focus, ...).
The manipulations could be
- changing to a completely new color
- dimming or brightening colors
- changing the font
- ...
